Description Share Post Tomorrow I’m in Charge! Jörg Mühle (Gecko Press) Tomorrow I’m in Charge! It seems that Weasel’s discovery of ‘Bear- playing with Badger‘ has upset the apple cart. After all, there doesn’t seem to be any room for Weasel to join in with the two, and then Bear suggests Weasel ‘make [them] something to eat’. However, Weasel’s dismayed. For starters, Badger’s Weasel’s friend, then again, shouldn’t they play together, the three? A game that Weasel suggests for example, like ‘house‘. Thereafter, Bear can be the child and ‘it’s time for bed‘. However, Bear has different ideas. After all, he always has to be the child, and he’s not tired, but angry! However, Weasel insists that Bear’s playing the ‘game wrong’. So, maybe a different game? What about football, for example, where Badger and Bear are on the same team, while Weasel’s on defence? Thereafter, what about Memory? Or even Hibernation? We watch the tensions build, as the detail within the illustrations retract, rather like Badger, who seems to be packing up his toys. Have we spotted the friends’ disagreement in another instance? What about Two for Me, One for You, for example, a beloved picture book from Jörg Mühle that has Bookwagon laughing out loud? Bookwagon is cockahoop to welcome aboard Tomorrow I’m in Charge!
