Description These Machine Shields can be used on drill presses, lathes, milling machines, with woodworking and band saws; perfect for about any machine that creates projectiles. This product was designed for protecting the operator from swarf, sparks and everything else that gets thrown at them. These Flexible-Arm Shields are forged of high-impact-resistant, 3/16″-thick poly-carbonate and are available up to 10” x 12”. The arms are constructed of a quality, heavy-duty ¾” diameter steel spring, coated with vinyl for protection from grease oil and other contaminants. This product offers almost any adjustment you could want, and extreme long-term holding power with a unmatched product life. The direct-mount base can be fastened directly to a machine with two 1/4-inch fasteners (included). The flexible arm can be mounted directly and furnished in the following sizes: 12″, 18″, or 24″.
