Description The shield can be used on milling machines, band saws, lathes, grinders, drills and just about any high-powered process produces projectiles as a by-product. It places a protective shield between the operator and the high-powered process. The see-through portion of these flexible-arm shields is a high-impact-resistant, 3/16″-thick poly-carbonate material. Special shield sizes are available up to 10” x 12”. These flexible-arm safety chip shields are made of high-quality, heavy-duty 3/4-inch-diameter spring steel covered with vinyl to protect from grease, oil, and contaminants that could weaken their holding power. They offer virtually unlimited adjustment possibilities and long-term holding power. The magnetic base consists of a 3” diameter magnet with a holding force of 100 lbs!
