Naturally, we open with glancing an Hello, Eiffel Tower, as it’s ‘peeking around the corner of that street/ always playing hide-and-seek-‘ . Might it watch as ‘– you walk/ out of the bakery’ with ‘the baguette’ that will ‘never make it home/ with its head still on’. Then again, might you take your baguette in Café Life one day? It could be because you’re ‘feeling extremely Parisian’ wearing your ‘chic things’ and bearing ‘a book’. Thereafter, isn’t this a day to ‘sip a small coffee- / en terrasse, with the wind in [your] face‘? Furthermore, what about continuing feeling ‘the most civilised’ that you can, but Rowing on Lac Daumesnil? Perhaps you might have ‘half a baguette stuffed with that smelly cheese‘? Thereafter you’ll see ‘the boats applies when they bump against ducks‘?  Then again, there might be other tourist attractions to explore? What about The Louvre or La Galerie des Glaces, for example? Clémentine Beauvais demonstrates her loving familiarity for this wonderful city through her dextrous poetry. Meanwhile Seula Yi’s pictures are reminiscent of early twentieth century travel posters in their matte tones and rich colourisations.
