SHOWCASE 2.0 was created by Mark Traversoni, based on Thomas Sealey's original idea. SHOWCASE blurs the lines between physical, digital and magical, taking the modern classic 'Card to Phone' effect to a new dimension. Never before have you been able to show your hands completely empty or show the phone all around before visually sliding, swiping or dropping their entire card – yes, ENTIRE CARD – into their hands. The days of tricky sleight of hand, folding cards and hiding things behind the phone are over. SHOWCASE offers you a universe of new ideas and absolute freedom on how you perform the tricks, allowing us to do things that have never been possible before… never so clean or visually… COMPLETELY SURROUNDED. It's one of those effects that looks and feels like real magic – the moment you produce the card feels even to the performer as if it came out of the phone. So… what is SHOWCASE? SHOWCASE is a credit card holder for the back of your phone or phone case with a flat back of at least 66mm x 95mm. It allows you to secretly hold, load and lock a map at runtime. An ingenious locking mechanism means the moment you produce the card is 100 percent under your control. A product that works beautifully with the existing Card to Phone apps (purchased separately) on the market that you probably already own – if not, we highly recommend them – and they're cheap too. Of course, you can do 'Card to Phone' with other non-app methods we teach you, using your phone's camera roll or video. The doors that SHOWCASE opens make room for some truly incredible and original routines: Don't want to use an app? – Video Prediction Imagine, after your spectator chooses a card, you take out your phone, go to your photo album to play a video you recorded of yourself earlier that day.
