I spent much of the last few months very frustrated with my perceived lack of progress, especially in flexibility. Lately though, I’ve started to accommodate myself rather than get frustrated. I need blocks for downward dog, but I can get a much better stretch and actually feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m much more comfortable in a cross-legged seat when my hips are propped on a pillow- so why did I spend so much time refusing to use a pillow? And honestly, after I started to allow myself to cheat I’ve noticed actual progress and the whole thing is way more enjoyable for me. Music art says in every musician to find what feels good, but I feel like I’ve really only begun to understand what that means recently. Thank you and this is what I needed, have cos U know it ; That affirmation – I am worthy was nicely done as I went beyond to set my intention for the now / hopefully the day.
