Byretech’s Flame Retardant (FR) Polyester Shower Curtains are made from the highest quality polyester material and are tested to comply with NHS FR Specifications. These Flame Retardant Shower Curtains are used in many applications where it’s important not to have the curtain be flammable in any way. Simply speaking, this achieved by coating the material in a special chemical to resist flames. Our curtain material is tested to BS5867 Part 2 Type B. The curtain material, will also not support microbial growth such as e-coli and M.R.S.A, plus they are mildew, mould and stain resistant too. The coating also helps mitigate damage and staining to the material from products such as Blood, Urine, Grease, Ink, Coffee, Fruit juices, Iodine, Betadine, Ketchup, Mustard, Salad dressing, and Suntan lotion. In terms of material this specification is hard to beat as its coated with a non water based FR coating. The curtain should be rinsed lightly with warm water after use from the shower head to remove the shampoo, bodywash or conditioner from the fabric. The curtain can also be laundered in a washing machine at 30C with detergent and without fabric conditioner. By doing this the life of the curtain will be extended. Need a sample piece of material ? No problems just ask….. Please note. Any curtains over 200cm in both dimensions may have a central vertical join / seam, due to the size of material on the roll being just over 200cm in width.
